Senior Liability Claims Examiner Full Time (Remote Anywhere in Canada)

International Programs Group (IPG) is an independent thirdparty claims administrator which provides claims services forLloyds of Londonsyndicates domestic insurers selfinsured entities or organizations with high deductibles or selfinsured retention. We are currently seeking a Liability Examiner.

Today IPG works with Canadas largest network of independent adjusting firms across the country. Operating out ofToronto Montreal and Vancouvereach IPG office is staffed with specialized senior examiners and qualified desktop examiners. We have regional expertise and are licensed in all Canadian provinces. The successful candidate will work within IPG a company of opportunity and excitement we are looking for the right candidate to join us!

Although intended to be a remote work opportunity this position may require attendance to the office for training client meetings or team meetings with ample notification.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Act as an examiner for various Lloyds accounts which involves providing prompt fair quality claims service to clients.
  • Examine complex liability claims.
  • Direct Field Adjusters on assignment investigations
  • Settle claims directly with claimants or their representatives
  • Administer claims payments/settlements through trust accounts
  • Liaise with all stakeholders to insure clients needs are met

Qualifications & Experience:

While licensing and experience are critical to being able to handle significant examining tasks for a TPA we are looking for individuals with a demonstrated and proven track record of performance. You will have to be strong technically a solid planner and organizer and understand key issues plus provide solid solutions. You will have to be motivated to do this type of work and be excited by the challenges that a rapidly growing organization faces.

We will also consider the following:

  • Your education with relevant postsecondary education being an asset
  • Your completed CIP courses or working towardsCIP designation
  • Your ability to hold an independent adjusting license
  • Your 710 years experience delivering relevant claims adjusting and/or examining work
  • Exposure to the Lloyds market would be an asset
  • Your experience positively contributing to a highperforming team
  • Examples of your strong aptitude and ability to work with technology
  • Your attention to detail and your ability to communicate professionally

Competencies:

  • Individual must demonstrate the ability to direct adjusters of all levels and work effectively in a team environment
  • Previously demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external associates written and oral techniques
  • A positive can do attitude and customer service approach ensuring all inquiries are effectively dealt with in a timely manner
  • Strong analytical problem solving and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to be proactive in identifying and implementing solutions
  • Proven ability to multitask in a fast paced and demanding environment
  • Exceptional computer skills. Ability to navigate various systems proficient in MS Office and work in a paperless environment.
