Job Summary
Synechron is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Java Lead to join our team. This role is central to leading a team of Java developers ensuring the delivery of highquality software solutions that drive business success and innovation. The Java Lead will design and implement scalable Java solutions collaborate with crossfunctional teams and contribute significantly to Synechrons strategic objectives.
Software Requirements
Required:
- Extensive knowledge of Java programming preferably Java SE 11 or later.
- Experience with microservices architecture and cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Proficiency in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with advanced Java frameworks and libraries such as Spring Boot and Hibernate.
Overall Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Java developers and ensure highquality software delivery.
- Develop and maintain Javabased applications and systems.
- Design and implement scalable and efficient Java solutions to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to resolve technical issues and drive innovation.
- Mentor and guide team members in best practices and professional development.
Technical Skills (By Category)
Programming Languages:
- Required: Java (SE 11 or later).
Frameworks and Libraries:
- Preferred: Spring Boot Hibernate.
Cloud Technologies:
- Required: Experience with AWS Azure or other cloud platforms.
Development Tools and Methodologies:
- Required: Proficiency in Git Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.
- Preferred: Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience in Java development.
- Proven experience leading a team of Java developers.
- Previous experience delivering Javabased solutions for large enterprises.
- Industry experience in technology finance or similar sectors is preferred.

- Lead and mentor a team of Java developers.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop test and deploy Javabased applications and systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Advanced certifications in Java development such as Oracle Certified Professional Java SE 11 Developer.
