This position requires a responsible Delivery Driver to distribute meals promptly to our program sites. You will represent our company in a professional and costeffective manner with a goal of providing quality efficient and effective program service. This position will be responsible for supporting a kitchen operation that prepares daily meals to be delivered to youth program sites in Sussex and Kent counties.
Deliver meals to locations throughout Sussex & Kent counties
Follow predetermined routes and time schedules
Load unload prepare inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
Complete driver logs and delivery reports
Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
Take temperature of meals at time of loading to the van and again at site delivery
This position may also require occasional kitchen productionrelated duties including packaging of meals and any other duties requested by Kitchen Manager or Assistant Kitchen Manager.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Must possess a valid drivers License for at least 3 years and no more than 5 points on driving record
Ability to operate a delivery vehicle in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
Excellent organizational and time management skills
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Experience in food delivery preferred
Working Conditions:
Position requires occasional pushing of cart bending reaching and climbing
Driving for prolonged period of time
Frequent moderate to heavy lifting
Work Hours:
7 a.m. 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday (Hours may vary according to the production needs of the kitchen. Occasional evening or weekends may be required).
