This is a seasonal temporary position through 11/2025. Responsibilities
This is a seasonal temporary position through 11/2025. Responsible for landscape of a specific area of the University to provide an aesthetically pleasing and safe environment and accomplished in accordance with university and department policies and procedures. Daily gardening and landscape maintenance including: mowing whipping edging laying sod pruning litter cleanup weeding and general landscape maintenance. Must operate different models of tools such as push and ride lawn mowers whipper hand pruners loppers leaf blowers and utility carts. Work expediently efficiently and independently with limited direction from Lead Horticulturist. Knowledge of the common names of trees shrubs flowers weeds and insect pests.
Minimum Qualifications
This is a seasonal temporary nonbenefited position that can be used for positions six months or less. Seasonal work generally means work that by its very nature can only be performed during certain times of the year.
