Senior Manufacturing Engineer Logan UTJob Description:
As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer you are an essential part of helping Entegris be part of the Future of Innovation. You will be responsible for working with various individuals in the development implementation and sustainment of world class manufacturing throughput. The Engineer demonstrates diligence utilizing the most efficient and effective methods of producing products and processes; has an innate emphasis on safety quality agility problem solving and a process improvement mentality.
In this role you will be exposed to products processes and technology such as: Injection molding Machining Pressure Transmitters Robotics PLCs to name a few. You will also be able to grow at Entegris where we encourage rotations and cross training between product families. Entegris also supports every employee to grow in their careers and advocates for internal movement for both lateral and increased complexity roles.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
- Evaluate existing processes and implement new processes/automation techniques to improve product flow part quality and first pass yields to reduce product cost and lead time.
- Initiate and lead LeanSigma projects to improve customer satisfaction eliminate waste reduce total product lead time improve cost effectiveness and product/system quality.
- Work with manufacturing team to support ontime shipping performance by eliminating quality issues and improving capacity on bottleneck processes.
- Lead 8D Problem Solving Teams in the failure analysis root cause investigation and corrective/preventative action activities to meet customer expectations.
- Participate in New Product Development projects and analyze results of validation and qualification protocols for products processes and equipment. Lead the Release to Manufacturing process to release only capable processes to production. Hold project team members accountable for completion of assigned tasks and activities.
- Provide training to production and maintenance personnel on setup part process instructions and how to trouble processes.
- Develop ROI data for equipment and coordinate its design purchase or construction and implementation with emphasis on design of fixtures.
- Author and/or review Standard Operating Processes work instructions test specifications and other documents for accuracy using the ECO Process.
- Ensure quality systems and products are consistent with internal documentation standards and customer requirements.
Qualifications (Education Training Experience Knowledge Skills Physical Requirements):
- BS degree; Engineeringrelated discipline and/or 35 years of professional experience.
- Good knowledge and experience with Lean Sigma processes & tools including but not limited to: process improvements DOE Statistical Process Controls Process capabilities studies FMEA process audits Root Cause analysis and ProblemSolving Techniques.
- Knowledge and experience implementing manufacturing processes that are ergonomic and improve operator safety.
- Ability to collaborate with cross functional departments such as Manufacturing R&D Product Management and Process Engineering.
- Experience with SolidWorks Microsoft Office and ERP systems skills (SAP desired).
- Proficiency in creating routings work instructions ECR/ECO process Cost analysis value stream mapping project management process monitoring and fixturing/tool design.

Salary is in the $89000$110000/annually with actual pay dependent on individual skill for role.
