Communications Manager Maternity Leave 14 month term)

We are currently looking for a Communications Manager maternity leave coverage at our Calgary base in the Marketing and Communications (MarComms) department.
While you may not be flying the helicopter or providing patient care as a member of STARS MarComms team you will play an important role in STARS lifesaving mission. Be part of something bigger. Be part of our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead external and internal communication plans with clear KPIs strategies and tactics
- Intake needs and develops communication plans for specific projects and initiatives to move forward STARS mission and strategy
- Provide media relations and communication strategy to Foundation team including stewardship donor relations and events
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum of 57 years experience in a similar role with at least 3 years leading people
- Proven experience in building communication plans and executing them successfully media relations crisis communications
- Bachelors degree in communications marketing journalism or other related field
