The Position:
We are seeking a fulltime Bilingual SchoolBased Therapist to provide clinical services to students and their families in a publicschool setting.
What Youll Do
- Provides individual family and group therapy to an assigned caseload including at least 8 clients seen at school or inoffice settings.
- Delivers a full range of treatment services such as intakes assessments treatment and discharge planning.
- Offers fieldbased services as needed including in clients homes or community locations.
- Develops and monitors individualized treatment plans ensuring theyre effective and client progress is tracked.
- Takes ownership of crisis situations responding as needed including outside of regular hours and participates in the agencywide oncall rotation.
- Engages caregivers in treatment using collateral sessions family therapy parent education and support groups.
- Meets expected billable hour targets as determined by the supervisor.
- Completes all documentation on time and in compliance with agency HIPAA and funding source standards.
- Maintains highquality uptodate client records as part of service delivery.
- Collaborates with school staff attends IEP meetings as needed provides case management and referrals follows crisis protocols and participates in required supervision and training including evidencebased practices.
- This position is fully onsite. A minimum of two evenings per week until 8:00pm are required.
Starting Salary:
- A.M.F.T. and A.C.S.W. $67000
- L.M.F.T. and L.C.S.W. $69000 $74000
- Waivered Psychologist: $75000
- Licensed Psychologist: $77000 $83000
- Additional years of experience will be considered as well
- $3000 differential available for bilingual SpanishEnglish proficiency (must pass Spanish Proficiency Assessment to qualify)
Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish and English required.
- DMH paperwork experience
- Experience providing mental health services to children and adolescents.
- Strong assessment and clinical judgment skills.
- Knowledge of evidencebased child and family interventions.
- Ability to develop reasonable appropriate treatment plans and clinical programs to meet the needs of the clients.
- Ph.D. Psy.D. MSW or MA/MS with an emphasis on marriage and family therapy. Must be eligible to register with the Board of Psychology or Board of Behavioral Sciences.
- PPSC credential not required for this position
