About Us
This position provides strategic leadership and oversight for multiple specialty retirement plans within the Retirement Systems Division including the Consolidated Judicial Legislative National Guard Register of Deeds and Firefighters and Rescue Squad Workers pension funds. Responsibilities include managing benefit processing ensuring compliance with statutes and policies overseeing member services operations and maintaining data integrity. The role leads crossfunctional projects analyzes business processes for improvement and monitors performance metrics to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency. It also involves collaborating on legislative implementation coordinating with actuarial teams for funding requests and ensuring alignment with the Divisions mission and goals.
In addition to program management the position directs recruitment onboarding performance management and staff development initiatives to foster a highperforming and serviceoriented team. It handles highlevel inquiries from stakeholders including members of the General Assembly and the Governors Office and serves as a liaison to external groups. The role leads issue resolution efforts identifies systemic problems through data analysis and implements solutions to improve service outcomes. Effective communication leadership and problemsolving are essential as is the ability to interpret complex policies and support continuous organizational improvement.
