Candidates must be comfortable working with complicated data sets. Moreover a successful intern will be comfortable with ambiguity and be able to skillfully identify and build an appropriate estimation solution for nontextbook experimentation environments. A successful candidate will be able to articulate their ideas and be able to support them with evidence. If you enjoy solving complex puzzles without obvious solutions then you will enjoy working with our team. Third year PhD level knowledge of econometrics as well as basic familiarity with Python is necessary.
These are fulltime positions at 40 hours per week with compensation being awarded on an hourly basis. You will learn how to build data sets and perform applied econometric analysis at Internet speed collaborating with economists scientists and product managers. These skills will translate well into writing applied chapters in your dissertation and provide you with work experience that may help you with placement.
