Location: Herefordshire
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Fulltime Permanent
Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Art Teacher to join our prestigious grammar school in Herefordshire. You will teach across Key Stages 3 4 and 5 with the potential to contribute to ALevel art teaching in a dynamic academic environment.
What Were Looking For
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Art Teacher who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Art Fine Art or Art & Design.
Has proven experience teaching Art across Key Stages 3 4 and 5 including ALevel content.
Possesses strong subject knowledge and a creative studentcentred approach to teaching.
Is passionate about inspiring students fostering their creativity and maintaining high academic standards.
Enjoys being part of a collaborative and supportive team sharing best practices and contributing to the wider school community.
Has excellent communication skills and is committed to continuous personal and professional development.

What Youll Be Doing
As an Art Teacher your responsibilities will include:
Teaching Art and Design across Key Stages 3 4 and 5 with opportunities to contribute to ALevel teaching.
Delivering highquality lessons across a variety of artistic media including drawing painting printmaking and digital art.
Inspiring students to think critically about art encouraging them to express themselves creatively and guiding them through their artistic journey.
Providing constructive feedback and supporting students individual progress and achievement.
Contributing to extracurricular activities such as art clubs exhibitions and other artrelated events enriching students experience beyond the classroom.
Collaborating with colleagues within the department and across the school to continually develop the curriculum and improve teaching practices.
