Job Title: School Cleaner
Location: Donnington Telford Shropshire
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 15:30 to 18:30
Hourly Rate: 13 per hour
Contract Type: Part-time Permanent
About the Role:
We are looking for a reliable and dedicated School Cleaner to join our team at a well-regarded school in Donnington Telford. As a school cleaner you will play an essential role in maintaining a clean safe and hygienic environment for students and staff. This is a part-time permanent position with a set shift of 15:30 to 18:30 Monday to Friday giving you the opportunity to work after school hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning classrooms corridors toilets and communal areas.
Emptying bins and recycling.
Cleaning windows walls and other surfaces as required.
Sweeping mopping and vacuuming floors to maintain cleanliness and hygiene.
Ensuring cleaning materials and equipment are used safely and stored correctly.
Adhering to health and safety policies and procedures at all times.
Reporting any maintenance issues to the Facilities Manager.
Requirements:
Previous cleaning experience ideally in a school or educational setting would be beneficial.
Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service is required.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Good attention to detail and pride in delivering high standards of cleanliness.
Reliability and punctuality are essential.
A proactive and positive attitude towards work.
