Bilingual Operations Specialist

We are a fastgrowing startup organization seeking a fulltime Bilingual Operations Specialist to join our team as a key player in ensuring the process of collecting and reporting manufacturing activities concerning safety quality delivery cost capability productivity project tracking inventory receiving material readiness and delivery. This person will assist in communicating process compliance for successful implementation of all aspects of the operation.

Responsibilities for an Operations Specialist:

• Coordinate with customers and suppliers from Korea or other Glovis operations.
• Respond to customer requests for supportive information and/or status updates.
• Collect verify create report formats for daily operations updates.
• Followup & report updates on special tasks and projects to upper management
• Initiate improvement activities to remove process barriers and increase efficiency.
• Promote and adhere to safety guidelines use of proper Protective Personal Equipment and expecting compliance from others within the facility
• Teamplayer that contributes to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge Skills & Abilities for an Operations Specialist:

• BilingualKorean fluent in verbal and written communications both English and Korean is required
• Bachelors degree in logistics supply chain or related field
• Experienced with data capturing and analytics
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Word PowerPoint etc. is required
• Project management and process improvement experience highly desired
• Public speaking skills and ability to communicate and present data to senior management.
• Team player willing to support activities to drive great customer satisfaction

The estimated base salary range for the Bilingual Operations Specialist is $55700$61600.The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that GLOVIS EA reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors including but not limited to specific skills or certifications years of experience market changes and required travel.
