As a Senior Software Engineer you will join a team of talented engineers in crafting solutions to some of the most complex data plumbing problems in the world in diagnostics today. There are billions of data points generated in systems that are not only inaccessible but were never designed to talk to each other.
You will help create enterprisescale software systems to tackle the fragmentation of this data. In this role you will be up close and personal with all the usual things like design conception design reviews for components or features development and testing of the core software stack.
Excellent communication skills and teamwork is a must!.
The Opportunity
This is a handson software development position to write high quality software that will perform at scale be supportable and be extensible.
Contribute to the design effort for a system component plan & deliver highquality software independently maintaining excellence in .
Participate in product design and development customer training and support activities as needed.
Provide guidance during code reviews key technical decisions and in the design specification of products.
Ensure seamless integration of the software stack with our existing CI pipeline contributing to continuous improvements.
Who you are
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline with strong computer science fundamentals.
You have over 3 years of handson experience in designing developing and deploying scalable web applications and services with proficiency in Java Spring Boot and JPA.
Experience in crafting relational data models REST APIs and implementing message brokerbased distributed architectures (e.g. RabbitMQ and Spring AMQP) along with experience in both relational (PostgreSQL MySQL) and NoSQL databases.
Strong knowledge of Linux systems with proficiency in Shell scripting and internals.
Strong working knowledge of AWS Cloud infrastructure including EC2 S3 API Gateway RDS VPC peering Route53 S3 and Autoscaling.
Quick learner with the ability to understand complex workflows develop & validate innovative solutions to solve difficult problems and effectively work with globally distributed teams.
Preferred
Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
Familiarity with DevOps automation tools like Jenkins GitHub Actions Terraform Ansible etc.
Experience developing and deploying production software using public cloud infrastructure preferably AWS.
Passionate for continuous improvement in software development processes & framework.
