Job Description
A creative and enthusiastic Design & Technology Teacher with a focus on Product Design is required to join an Outstanding Mixed school in Harrow. The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 to develop their design thinking and practical skills in product development.
Responsibilities
- Plan prepare and deliver engaging Design & Technology Teacher lessons focusing on Product Design at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Develop students skills in design processes materials and manufacturing techniques.
- Assess and monitor student progress in Design & Technology providing constructive feedback to enhance their learning.
- Contribute to the development of the Design & Technology curriculum with a focus on Product Design.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Design & Technology.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Design & Technology with a focus on Product Design at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Strong practical skills in product design and knowledge of relevant materials and processes.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills capable of inspiring creativity and problemsolving in students.
