Job Description

Are you a passionate Music Teacher looking to lead and inspire Join our outstanding Havering school with TLR potential!

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Music Teacher to join our thriving and wellresourced department. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to develop their career with the potential for a TLR for candidates demonstrating leadership qualities and a commitment to the growth of music within the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and highquality Music lessons across Key Stages 34 (and potentially KS5.
  • Inspire a lifelong love of music and musical performance in our students.
  • Create a positive inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
  • Contribute to the development of the Music curriculum and extracurricular musical activities.
  • Potential for a TLR for candidates demonstrating leadership potential in areas such as leading a key stage instrumental ensembles or the extracurricular music program.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Degree in Music or a related field.
  • Proven ability to deliver engaging Music lessons at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply).
  • Strong musical skills including instrumental proficiency and theoretical knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated potential for leadership and taking on additional responsibilities within the Music department (for TLR consideration).
