Tacoma Screw Products is a distribution company that has been supplying industrial supplies fasteners and tools to contractors businessesboth small and largeand individual retail customers since 1946.

We serve a unique mix of wholesale and retail customers which allows us to operate outside of traditional retail hours. We are closed on nights Sundays and holidays giving our employees a better worklife balance.

Compensation & Schedule:

FullTime: MondayFriday 40 hours per week inoffice.
Pay Range: $20 $28 per hour.
Annual Bonus: Discretionary yearend bonus.

Job Description:

We are seeking a detailoriented and dedicated Accounting Clerk who takes pride in accuracy and efficiency. Our ideal candidate enjoys working in a collaborative environment ensuring financial records are precise and organized while providing excellent support to both internal teams and external partners.

A Day in the Life:

As an Accounting Clerk you will play an essential role in our Accounting Department handling highvolume data entry clerical tasks and business communications. Youll collaborate with both internal and external partners ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial records. This is a detailfocused role making it a great fit for someone who enjoys problemsolving and keeping things organized.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Maintain update and reconcile customer and vendor account activity.
Process payments efficiently to and from vendors and customers.
Provide exceptional service by responding promptly to inquiries from internal and external partners.
Perform clerical tasks such as scanning filing and mailing.
Step in at reception
Take on additional tasks as assigned to support department goals.

Experience and Skills:

Key Requirements:

Education: High School Diploma or GED .
Attention to Detail: Accuracy is imperative in this role.
Tech Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar software.
Strong Communication: Ability to work effectively with team members and external partners.
Math & Organization: Solid numerical verbal and written skills with ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records.
Team Player: Ability to work independently while also thriving in a team environment.
SelfMotivated: Organized proactive and ready to contribute.
