Youll play a crucial role in advancing our control systems and contributing to our mission of achieving autonomous operation for our core products. What You Will Do

As a Software Developer at Alfa Laval you will be engaged in a dynamic Agile environment throughout the entire product lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include:

• Software engineering involving feature breakdown task specification programming testing documentation source code management deployment and issue tracking.
• Webbased HMI development using our design language.
• Collaborating closely with our UX designers to enhance user experiences.
• Establishing global automation standards for the platforms we use through crosssite collaboration.
• Working in Sprints as a part of a selforganizing team contributing to the evolution of our products.
• Maintain previous released software.

Who You Are

We are looking for a passionate Software Developer who thrives in a dynamic workspace where teamwork and knowledge sharing are essential. To excel in this role you should have:

• A university degree preferably a Masters (MSc MEng MTech) or Bachelors (BSc BEng BTech) from anyone of the following field:
  Mechatronics / Control & Automation / Embedded Systems / Industrial Automation / Electrical & Electronics / Instrumentation & Control / Embedded Systems / Computer Science or any related field.
  
• More than 5 years of work experience in software development and standardizations.
• Prior experience in PLC programming using textbased languages such as Structured Text C C and/or experience with embedded systems.
• Experience in Siemens and Allen Bradley PLC platforms
• Proficiency with TIA Portal and Studio 5000 Logix Designer.
• Experience in industrial communication protocols such as ProfNet EtherNet/IP Ethernet Powerlink EtherCAT Modbus Profibus and OPCUA.
• Proficiency with configuring and programming VFDs.
• Knowledge of web technologies including HTML5 JavaScript and CSS.
• Familiarity with Software Development Models & Methods such as ObjectOriented Programming (OOP) S88 and PackML.
• A customerfocused mindset and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• Strong communication skills in English both verbal and written.

This position is based in Pune India.
