Position functions as a firstline professional manager of professional positions in standard work area receiving executive direction. This position manages the Food and Nutrition Services of the hospital to meet the financial goals of the hospital and to provide food and nutrition products and services at the level of quality expected by the customers. Products and
services include food service in the form of meals and nourishments nutrition services in the form of patient assessment treatment and consultations with the treatment team. Customers include patients visitors and staff providing medical and psychiatric treatment.

Education
Possession of a bachelors degree in foods and nutrition or institution management.
Experience
Five years of professional experience performing a variety of assignments to improve the diet nutrition and health of residents of state facilities and group homes equivalent to a Dietitian/Nutritionist including three years equivalent to a Dietitian/Nutritionist P11 two years equivalent to a Dietitian/Nutritionist 12 or a Dietitian/Nutritionist Manager 12 or one year equivalent to a Dietitian/Nutritionist Manager 13.
Registration as a Dietitian.
NOTE: Equivalent combinations of education and experience that provide the required knowledge skills and abilities will be evaluated on an individual basis.
This position is located at the Center for Forensic Psychiatry: 8303 Platt Road Saline MI 48176.
