Were looking for a Senior Brand Sales Director to join our growing Brand Sales team. This is a highimpact individual contributor role focused on new business development with nonbrickandmortar brandsthink CPG financial services alcohol/beverage DTC and more. Youll be selling Yelps managed service advertising solutions including Yelp Audiences our proprietary search retargeting product as well as display video OTT CTV and audio formats.

This is a true hunter roleyoull be responsible for building your own book of business from the ground up identifying and engaging new brand partners and driving revenue through strategic consultative selling. What youll do:

  • Own a book of up to 4050 strategic brand accounts focused exclusively on new business acquisition
  • Prospect pitch and close new partnerships with brands that do not have physical locations
  • Sell Yelps managed service advertising solutions with a focus on Yelp Audiences
  • Build and nurture relationships with seniorlevel marketing decisionmakers and media buyers
  • Align Yelps audiencedriven solutions with client goals campaign objectives and KPIs
  • Collaborate crossfunctionally with Customer Success Ad Ops and Product teams to ensure seamless campaign and client satisfaction
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and bring fresh strategic ideas to the table
  • Travel as needed (approximately 1520 for client meetings industry events and team collaboration

What it takes to succeed:

  • Have 12 years of experience in digital media advertising sales and both client and agency partnerships including 8 years in a direct sales role
  • Have a strong track record of exceeding multimilliondollar quotas and closing deals in the $150K range
  • Have experience selling managed service and programmatic advertising solutions
  • Are a natural hunter who thrives on building new relationships opening doors and creating opportunities from scratchfocused exclusively on managed services sales.
  • Are comfortable navigating complex sales cycles 36 months) and engaging with multiple stakeholders
  • Strategic curious and solutionsorientedyou dont just sell products you solve problems
  • Highly organized and selfmotivated with the ability to manage a large book of business and hit activity targets 1825 accounts/month 8 touchpoints/account)
  • Collaborative and teamoriented with a strong desire to contribute to a growing team and evolving product set
  • Passionate about Yelps mission and excited to help brands tap into our 76M monthly unique visitors at the moment of intent
