NXTGEN are exclusively partnering with a highly successful familyrun business to recruit a Finance Controller for this newly created position. The business is a genuine leader within its field and continues to grow at pace offering a fantastic opportunity to join at a key stage in its journey. With a supportive and collaborative culture at its core this is a role where youll be given full autonomy over the finance function and play a central role in shaping the strategic direction of the business.
As Finance Controller youll join the Senior Leadership Team and act as a true business partner across departments providing commercial insight and financial guidance to influence key decisions. This is a broad and varied role that offers significant exposure across the wider business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full ownership of the finance function including the management and development of a small finance team
- Production of monthly management accounts with clear and insightful commentary
- Partnering with senior stakeholders to support business performance and decisionmaking
- Ownership of budgeting forecasting and cashflow management
- Driving improvements in financial controls systems and processes
- Leading the yearend process and managing relationships with external advisors and auditors
- Delivering commercial analysis to support operational and strategic initiatives
To be successful in this role youll need to be a fully qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) with a strong commercial mindset and the confidence to challenge and support senior stakeholders.
