Boys & Girls Aid in Portland OR is looking to hire a parttime Foster Care Adoption Clinician.Are you an effective communicator who can build and maintain relationships with prospective adoptive families Do you wantflexible hoursautonomy in your workand a positive team of coworkers If yes you might just be perfect for this position!
This parttime 20hour Adoption Clinician position earns $22.00/hr.
Spanish bilingualspeaking employees are eligible for an additional 8 pay differential. This role offers flexible time off paid holidays an employee assistance program and a 403(b) retirement plan with a 4 employer contribution after six months. Our agency also qualifies for Student Loan Forgiveness.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FOSTER CARE ADOPTION CLINICIAN
- As a Foster Care Adoption Clinician you will have a rewarding job doing the following:
- Using your clinical skills to assess families who wish to adopt a child currently in foster care.
- Conducting home visits interviewing prospective families and writing home studies reflecting each familys abilities to provide a nurturing home for a child or sibling group.
- Facilitating the adoption matching transition and placement process in a childcentered trauma informed manner.
- Providing meaningful support guidance and training to families during their adoption journey.
- Making a difference in the lives of children and families gives you an incredible sense of purpose and that is why you love your job!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A FOSTER CARE ADOPTION CLINICIAN
- Masters Degree with one year postgraduate relevant experience or a Bachelors Degree plus four years relevant experience
- Lived expertise in any aspect of foster care or adoption is considered a valuable qualification.
- Valid drivers license and a good driving record.
