Withums Outsourced Accounting Systems and Services (OASyS) team is seeking anOutsourced Accounting Manager to join our growing team in our East Brunswick NJ; Red Bank NJ; or Whippany NJ office. This role will be a hybridbased position. The Outsourced Accounting Manager will oversee and work together with staff and senior team members to service a wide range of notforprofit organizations. How Youll Spend Your Time:
- Supervising a team
- Reviewing and approving payments to vendors / contractors
- Reviewing and approving payroll
- Handling month end close process
- Reviewing and approving all proposed JEs
- Reviewing all reconciliations for Balance sheet accounts
- Monthly Financial Reporting including FS narratives and dashboards
- Assisting with grant reporting and submissions
- Budgeting / Cash flow forecasting
- Working with Client Leadership of organization
- Facilitating outside annual audits
- Ensuring proper internal controls and enhancement of processes
The Kinds of People We Want to Talk to Have Many of The Following:
- Bachelors degree in accounting or finance required
- CPA preferred and/or MBA equivalent
- 57 years of accounting experience
- Outstanding communication skills
- Preferably experience with Intacct Accounting System QuickBooks and/or NetSuite Accounting Systems
- Experience working with notforprofit organizations and community organizations with a basic understanding of accounting reporting for notforprofits
- Involvement in their community and desire to give back
