Job Description

Overview

Per Mar Security Services is seeking an Experienced Security Officer to join our expanding team! If you love a set schedule this is the job for you!

Job Skills / Requirements

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE: VALID DRIVERS LICENSE CURRENT or RENEWABLE (less than 5 years past expiration date) WI Security License Must have own vehicle Must be available 1st and 2nd shift.

Shift:
Monday through Thursday 2:00 PM 8: 00 PM
Friday and Saturday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
40 hours!
Location: Wausau

Minimum Requirements:

  • Pass background check
  • Must pass onsite drug test at time of hire
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must possess the values important to Per Mar Security Integrity Communication Excellent Service and Accountability.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be able to be professional in all settings have open communication with Operations Manager and be able to learn quickly.
  • Have reliable transportation
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be responsible and dependable
  • Must be willing to participate in the Companys preemployment screening process including drug screen and background investigation. Must not have any felonies.
  • Must be able to obtain a DSPS Private Security Person license.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Conduct foot patrols
Monitor premises to prevent theft violence or infractions of rules
Thoroughly examine doors windows and gates to ensure proper function and security
Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
Address persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
Report any facility issues
Request emergency personnel for high risk situations if applicable
Working in a public setting must be able to adjust to different types of situations and respond accordingly and promptly.
Daily Reports time sheets and other forms must be filled out properly and in a timely manner; Must have good written communication.
