Job Description & Summary

At PwC our people in data management focus on organising and maintaining data to enable accuracy and accessibility for effective decisionmaking. These individuals handle data governance quality control and data integration to support business operations.

In data architecture at PwC you will focus on designing and implementing the structure and organisation of data assets within the organisation. Your work will involve developing data models defining data standards and establishing data integration frameworks. You will assist in confirming that data is stored accessed and utilised efficiently enabling seamless data flow across systems and supporting effective data management practices.

Growing as a strategic advisor you leverage your influence expertise and network to deliver quality results. You motivate and coach others coming together to solve complex problems. As you increase in autonomy you apply sound judgment recognising when to take action and when to escalate. You are expected to solve through complexity ask thoughtful questions and clearly communicate how things fit together. Demonstrates indepthlevel abilities and/or a proven record of success managing efforts with
identifying and addressing client needs including:
Designing and implementing data architecture strategies ensuring alignment with business
goals and data governance policies;
Working collaboratively with business leaders IT teams and other US Enterprise Tech
stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions;
Acting as a subject matter expert in data architecture providing guidance and support to
crossfunctional teams;
Implementing a comprehensive data architecture strategy that aligns with the organizations
business goals and objectives;
Ensuring that data architecture is scalable sustainable and flexible to meet future business
needs;
Guiding the development of data warehousing data lakes and other data storage solutions;
Establishing and enforcing data governance policies and procedures to ensure data integrity
consistency and security;
Promoting best practices in data management and ensuring compliance with relevant data
protection regulations;
Evaluating and recommending new technologies and tools to enhance data architecture
capabilities;
Providing leadership and mentorship to a team of data architects and analystsinnovation
and continuous improvement;
Monitoring industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure PwC remains at the
forefront of dataarchitecturep ractices;
Working closely with IT security teams to ensure data security and privacy regulations are
met;
Utilizing data visualization tools such as Power BI or similar;
Understanding of the professionalindustryw ith experience in data architecture field;
Demonstrates in depth level abilities and/or a proven record of success managing efforts
with identifying and addressing client needs
Demonstrating proven experience with data warehousing data lake solutions ETL
processes and data modeling;
Managing data services and SaaS products through cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure;
Presenting experience in data bricks or similar tool;
Understanding importance ofdataq uality for AI applications;
Demonstrating proficiency in SQL and experience with NoSQL databases;
Understanding of data governance and data quality best practices;
Having the ability to solve problems and work in a fastpaced environment; and
Demonstrating exceptional communication and leadership skills.
