Your day will involve
As an OSHC Engagement Educator youll be responsible for planning and executing activities that foster the development of life skills while igniting a sense of excitement and curiosity. Heres a glimpse into what your day might involve:
- Interacting and supervising with young people
- Facilitating Life Skills Development
- Snack and Mealtimes
- Planning activities
- Building relationships
What are we looking for
- Experience supervising and/or interacting with children
- Working with children check (WWCC)
- Current First Aid Certificate with Asthma and Anaphylaxis and CPR (HLTAID004 / HLTA012
- Ability to follow safeguarding priorities
- Team player contributing and upholding organisational values
- Ability to work under pressure prioritise tasks to get things done efficiently
Bonus Skills (Desirable but Not Essential)
- Completed or working towards a qualification in a relevant field (Childcare Sport & Recreation Youth Work Social Sciences Teaching Community Services Health)
- Current LR Driver License (or willing to obtain)
- Child Protection Certificate Identify and Respond to Children and Young People at Risk (or willing to obtain)

Commencing hourly rate: $30.00 $34.72 $10 split shift allowance 11.5 superannuation.
As part of the recruitment process we will be holding a Group Assessment centre on Wednesday 28 May 2025 and Thursday 29 May 2025. Successful applicants will be asked to attend either an afternoon session commencing at 2.30pm.
