Job Description
As a School Media Parent Engagement Coordinator you play a key role in helping share the story of your school. This role supports district communication efforts by highlighting the great things happening in your building through photos updates recognitions and more. Below is a list of expectations to help guide your work and ensure consistent effective communication across all schools.
- Use Thrillshare to post updates regularly on your schools Facebook page website and app.
- Ensure all posts are timely accurate and align with district communication standards.
- Highlight student achievements school events staff recognitions and classroom activities.
- Submit clear high-quality photos and brief captions when sharing visual content.
- Keep your schools event calendar updated monthly including all relevant school-wide events testing dates and activities.
- Collaborate with school leadership to ensure key announcements and celebrations are communicated.
- Respond promptly to district communication requests or content submissions.
- Attend any required training or check-ins related to Thrillshare and communication duties.
- Promote a positive school culture through consistent and engaging messaging.
