Job Description

The Software Test Engineering Intern is responsible for supporting the software test engineering group at NKDHS.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND MAIN DUTIES

  • Contribute to the product test development.
  • Contribute to the requirements development.
  • Participate in intern activities and complete assigned intern project prepare material and present findings to Executive Leadership and management.
  • Adhere to all company policies procedures and business ethics codes.
  • Duties may be modified or assigned at any time based on business need.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION /EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelors degree program in Computer Science or related discipline
  • Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle preferred
  • Manual and/or automated testing experience preferred
  • Experience with objectoriented programming concepts and languages such as C and Java preferred.
  • Experience with network communication protocols such as TCP/IP UDP etc.

COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • Able to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative team environment
  • Good writing skills with the ability to communicate information clearly and effectively

COMPENSATION

The anticipated range for this position is $21.00 to $23.00. Actual placement within the range is dependent on multiple factors including but not limited to skills education experience and location.

WORKING CONDITIONS

SCHEDULE: The regular hours for this fulltime position are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. MondayFriday unless otherwise stated by the department manager. Holiday weekend and evening work hours may be required. Regular hours may vary due to the needs of the organization or department and are subject to change at any time at the Companys discretion.

PHYSICAL: Generally may require some reaching bending stooping squatting crawling kneeling pushing pulling lifting carrying up to 20 pounds finger dexterity repetitive motions standing walking sitting hearing visual acuity color vision and 2way written/verbal communication in English. More specific details may be provided as needed or requested.

TRAVEL: Minimal
