Nepean Hospital is a teaching hospital that provides tertiary referral services in emergency care coronary care diagnostics gynaecology paediatric neonatal intensive care/ICU maternity mental health rehabilitation and surgery. The Nepean Campus has recently experienced tremendous growth and aims to support communities within and outside of Sydneys western suburbs providing worldclass clinical facilities services and care.


An excellent opportunity is available to join the team in Nepean Theatres as a Clinical Support Officer (CSO). This position is ward/unit based and supports the work activities of nurses midwives medical and allied health staff with locally determined shift times based on the service delivery needs.

As a Clinical Support Officer you will provide support across the health facility and assignment may be to one or several wards or unit. You will work closely with existing administrative staff such as ward clerks and communication officers at the ward/unit level. This position complements existing roles systems and processes in each organisation.

Key to your success is providing timely and accurate administrative/transactional services for members of the health care teams under the direction of the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager(s).
