JOB SUMMARY:
Oversees the Talent Acquisition function; responsible for the daytoday employment process of Hourly and NonExempt hiring for Universal Orlando Resort.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop recruiting strategies for shortterm and longterm business needs. Continuously monitor Talent Acquisition progress for open requisitions; determine alternate recruitment avenues to support the business. Identify trends; examines niche markets; monitors and develop staffing metrics to help drive recruitment and support business needs.
- Develop effective strategies and tactical initiatives for Talent Acquisition. Manage and develop TA team to ensure highest levels of service and support are provided. Develop and manage department budget. Step in for senior leaders when necessary.
- Manage execute and continuously look to improve UOs Hourly and NonExempt staffing function. Partner with Hiring Managers Records Compensation Investigations Talent Development and HRBP teams to identify process improvement. Manage systems processes metrics and statistics of staffing functions and communicate these clearly to all stakeholders.
- Monitor the effectiveness and utilization of UOs online application system. Ensure the system functions and capabilities are maximized; ensure all TA Team Members can utilize the system consistently and compliantly. Continuously seek opportunities to increase efficiencies associated with this medium.
- Develop advertising strategy; manage recruitment budget and oversee of UOs Hourly and NonExempt recruitment message(s) in the media online and in the community positioning UO as an exciting employer of choice.
- Maintain open communication with department leaders regarding employment issues. Build relationships with leaders across the resort to support in meeting staffing requirements.
- Understand and actively participate in Environmental Health & Safety responsibilities by following established policy procedures training and team member involvement activities.

EDUCATION:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Psychology Business or related field required.
EXPERIENCE:
- 5 years talent acquisition / recruitment experience; 1 year of supervisory experience required.
