Job Description
McGee Air Services is looking for PartTime Customer Service Agent at Paine Field in Everett WA. The pay range is $17.67$17.67 an hour.
The Customer Service Agent is responsible for assisting guests by performing various tasks in baggage ticketing checkin and boarding flights as well as responding to guest inquiries and resolving complaints.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists customers with travel needs including checkin baggage boarding and general travel questions
- Evaluate and prepare flights by arranging seat assignments directing guests making announcements using a PA system processing upgrades and standby requests.
- Assists with mishandled guests as a result of oversold flights delayed or cancelled flights lost delayed or damaged luggage.
- Process and secure guest luggage. Enters and maintains delayed or damaged luggage claims using a data entry system.
- At the direction of management may be assigned to perform duties of varying capacities to ensure complete guest satisfaction.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment.
- Ability to learn and operate a computerized reservation system.
- Typing speed of 25 WPM or more.
- Ability to consistently lift 75lbs.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to bend stoop squat reach and grasp.
- Ability to perform basic mathematics.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights weekends and holidays.
- Ability to participate in paid trainingthat may require overnight travel.
- Obtaining and maintaining an airport security clearance and/or customs seal including criminal history check drug screen and fingerprinting.
- Ability to communicate in English.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- A minimum of 1 year of customer service experience
