Production & Logistics Coordinator
Cape Town FullTime Must have own transport
Are you a master of coordination with a sharp eye for detail and a love for beautiful design Join our dynamic team and play a key role in ensuring the smooth production and timely delivery of exceptional furniture and dcor pieces to our clients both locally and internationally.
Were looking for a highly organized and proactive Production & Logistics Coordinator to support our Procurement Department. This is a handson fastpaced role that blends logistics supplier engagement project planning and quality control within the world of interior design and furniture production.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and track local and international production schedules
Build and maintain relationships with manufacturers and suppliers
Brief manufacturers monitor quality control and conduct progress inspections
Coordinate delivery and installation logistics (including international freight)
Prepare and maintain client delivery schedules and production progress reports
Oversee packaging labelling and final product inspections
Ensure all necessary customs documentation and shipping paperwork are prepared
Work closely with internal teams and troubleshoot delays or issues efficiently
Provide supplier maintenance manuals and documentation for client handovers
Key Requirements
A minimum of 5 years experience in logistics or production coordination within the furniture interior design or manufacturing sectors
Strong understanding of supply chain freight and production processes
Excellent project management and multitasking skills
Sharp problemsolving abilities and a calm demeanor under pressure
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word Outlook)
A valid drivers license and own reliable vehicle
A camera or smartphone capable of capturing highquality progress images
Professionalism discretion and exceptional attention to detail
Advantageous Requirements:
A degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics Business or a related field
A passion for interior design and craftsmanship
