Job Description

Job Description Summary
This is a graduate assistant position will work with the Online Education and Certification OEC unit within the Office of Academic Affairs at Marshall University. This position serves a critical need to assist on our student services communications and design center. The GA will report to the Senior Director of Student Education to support the work of Marshall Online through: Provide assistance support to Marshall Online team on initiatives and projects that promote and support online student success. Utilize various communication channels including but not limited to email social media phone calls to connect students with information on programs and initiatives. Assist in the planning and delivery of events and programming. Collaborate with team and campus partners on programming and projects. Conduct and analyze research related to best practices and trends in online learning success. Utilize systems data analytics tools and platforms to serve and connect students and track and evaluate processes and efficiencies. Assist with surveys polls assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of initiatives. Provide support and training on technology and processes for engagement and programming. Other duties as assigned.
