Job Description
As an Inventory Control Assistant II you will participate in and engage in multidisciplined supply chain and inventory focused project teams that support the organizations business strategies with a direct impact on business unit function and overall site results. You will support the drive of new concepts standards and processes across functional teams. You will support daily inventory actives and drive improvement in a challenging environment. The selected candidate will integrate innovative inventory solutions across our Louisville Distribution Center. JOB DUTIES:
- Maintain control of purchased and produced inventory
- Ensure compliance with internal control procedures
- Participate in project teams
- Perform administrative duties as assigned
YOU MUST HAVE:
- 6 months experience working in inventory in a DC setting
- Experience operating inventory picking equipment such as cherry pickers/order pickers
WE VALUE:
- Familiarity with counting inventory and using basic mathematics
- Experience utilizing WMS/ERP systems
- Proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with standard inventory concepts practices and procedures
- The ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment
- Someone whos team oriented and partners well with others
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
