Protiviti is looking for a Variable Strategic Sourcing Manager to join our growing Legal Consulting team.

Do Your Talents Include the Following

The Variable Strategic Sourcing Manager is responsible for serving clients (internal and external) and ensuring the successful of projects using technology and solution best practices. The Manager is responsible for understanding their clients business and demonstrating technical expertise in their product group and industry. Managers continually look to emerging trends in technology and focus on process improvement automation and regulatory compliance for both internal and external systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage consulting projects in various technology domains ensuring delivery on time within budget and in line with client expectations.

• Develop strategies and solutions to address complex techrelated challenges faced by our clients.

• Lead client meetings and workshops to understand their business objectives and technology needs.

• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including data analysts engineers project managers etc. to design holistic technological solutions.

• Perform software and workflow demonstrations as for both internal and external audiences.

• Maintain an updated understanding of the latest technology trends and advancements that could benefit our clients.

• Assist in the evaluation of new technologies including performing proof of concept exercises.

General Knowledge & Skills:

Qualifications and preferred experience:

• Strong track record of highlevel negotiations with top tech companies e.g. Microsoft AWS Adobe)

• Strong technical vernacular around hardware and software (SaaS infrastructure security)

• Understanding and proven ability to accomplish of Cost Savings & Cost Avoidance

• Ability to write and manage RFP process

• Client facing presence

• Understanding of procurement DEI initiative

• Ability to create and analyze and make recommendations for supplier diversity

• Ability to interact with Csuite level internal personnel i.e. presentation and preparatory skills)

• Experience interacting with HR Finance and Digital Group

• Strong grasp of AI and where it is heading

• People management experience

Your Educational and Professional Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Computer Science Information Systems or related field).

• 7 years working in IT Information Systems or Business Data Analysis either in professional services or the technology industry.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications with specific emphasis on Word Excel and PowerPoint. Secondary emphasis on Visio and Access.

• Strong understanding of a variety of technologies such as cloud computing cyber security software development processes AI & machine learning etc.

• Excellent project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple concurrent projects.

• Working knowledge of various database technologies (Oracle MS SQL Server DynamoDB) preferred.

• Working knowledge of eDiscovery applications including Relativity Reveal Nuix Everlaw DISCO preferred.

• Working knowledge of programming languages such as Python java JSON VBA C# preferred.

Our Hybrid Workplace

Protiviti practices a hybrid model which is a combination of working in person with a purpose and working remotely. This model creates meaningful experiences for our people and our clients while offering a flexible environment. The ratio of remote to inperson requirements vary by client project team and other business factors. Our people work both inperson in local Protiviti offices and on client sites which can include local or outofstate travel based on our projects and client requests and commitments.
