Position Overview:
The Accounting Clerk will work closely with the Regional Accounting Manager and be responsible for processing and managing accounts payable transactions other administrative financial tasks and supporting shop teammates with their accounting needs. The regional accounting team consists of four teammates who support the operations of 20 shops.
Essential Functions:
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: High school diploma/GED.
Experience: 2 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience. Experience in the automotive industry and/or multilocation business a plus.
Technical skills: Thorough understanding of bookkeeping practices and procedures. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Soft skills: Strong attention to detail ability to meet deadlines excellent communication skills and a customer service mentality.
Other: Ability to work independently and collaboratively with remote teammates.
Valid drivers license.
