Power Delivery Market Leader

Haskell provides integrated delivery of capital projects across a wide range of markets and now we are looking for a Power Delivery Market Leader as we prepare to establish a new business line. This position is part of our Design & Consulting team that unites architecture engineering and consulting professionals from across industries and geographies.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Strategy
  • Define the vision and strategic direction of the Power Delivery market
  • Lead business development initiatives by creating account plans pursuing new opportunities and managing proposal efforts.
  • Enhance operational efficiency through process standardization and the implementation of innovative solutions.

• Client Engagement
  • Serve as the primary client interface reporting on project progress costs schedules and risks.
  • Where client needs and services are not defined seeks to understand client criteria and documents what is needed for effective delivery of the project.

• Building a Team
  • Partner with Haskells talent acquisition team to evaluate and align staffing strategies with project requirements ensuring the right expertise is in place at the right time.

• Executing the Work
  • Directs and is accountable for all aspects of the design effort.
  • Responsible for coordination among disciplines and conformance to corporate standards for design documents.
  • Provide leadership in project teaming and integration of design and construction staff.

To thrive in this role you will need:

• Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline
• 10 years of experience in utility project management with direct experience working for or consulting to an electric utility
• Successful track record of business development and leading a team
• Experience with utility capital project contract management and risk mitigation

Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand walk stoop kneel crouch and manipulate (lift carry move) light to medium weights of 1050 pounds. Requires good handeye coordination and arm hand and finger dexterity including the ability to grasp and visual acuity to use a keyboard operate equipment and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit reach with hands and arms talk and hear.
