Well Technician

Position Overview

• The Well Technician is responsible for ensuring completing daily assignments ISO cleanings tanker filling paperwork and quality sampling. Waiakea Hawaiian Volcanic Water sources manufactures and produces bottled water from start to finish at our Bottling Plant. For additional information about our company please visit our website at

Schedule:

The Well Technician is a fulltime position. Waiakea Inc. is currently hiring for an overnight position.

Available Shift Schedules:

Shift 3: MondayFriday 10:00pm6:30am

Shift Differentials will be paid as outlined below:

Overnight shift shift 3 receives an additional 5 hourly wage differential

Essential Job Functions:

• Cleaning & filling ISO containers
• Filling the tanker for the plant operation
• Completing paperwork required for filling tankers and ISOs
• Completing daily sanitation on Well equipment
• Taking quality samples for each tanker and ISO
• Completing weekly PMs assigned
• Building Flexi containers
• Taking quality samples of the ISOs
• Inspect ISOs including the main valves and top hatch
• Sanitizing the sanitation shed equipment at the beginning of the shift
• Complete cleaning paperwork
• Completing weekly PMs for the sanitation shed
• Regular yard maintenance and ground maintenance
• Adheres to the highest standards of company safety programs guidelines rules and regulations
• Strictly always follows Waiakeas Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Food Safety Standards

• Excellent communication & attention to detail
• Complies with all standard safety practices safety rules good manufacturing practices and all other company rules and requirements.
• Required to continuously stand walk reach with arms & hands
• Required to continuously use hands to handle product materials and machine
• Required to frequently twist bend stoop lift climb and balance
• Required to frequently lift and or move 1020 pounds lift and or move 2030 pounds with reasonable accommodation lift and or move 4050 pounds with the aid of a coworker and/or reasonable accommodations
• Ability to use a computer or tablet to complete paperwork
• Ability to comprehend basic verbal and written instructions
• Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma/ GED required
• Knowledge of GMP First Aid Process improvement
• Maintenance skills and knowledge preferred
• Quality & Sanitation experience preferred
