The role

We re looking for a SHEQ Manager to lead on health safety environmental and quality (SHEQ) matters across our business. This is a handson role focused on compliance continuous improvement and helping us maintain a zeroharm culture. Youll be key to making sure we meet all legal requirements and maintain our industry accreditations while driving high standards across our teams and processes.


An idea of what youll be doing:


  • Lead and manage our SHEQ approach and policies
  • Chair the SHEQ committee and ensure legal compliance
  • Keep all systems and accreditations up to date (including ISO Achilles SafeContractor CHAS and B Corp)
  • Lead audits manage incident investigations and ensure followups
  • Maintain the Integrated Management System (IMS)
  • Oversee training occupational health surveillance and toolbox talks
  • Manage approved subcontractor checks and SHEQ documentation
  • Provide regular reports and support across departments
  • Stay up to date with regulations and help others do the same

Requirements

When you join you will go through our topnotch induction and onboarding process and have opportunities to develop further through our inhouse training academy.


  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent safety qualification (highly desirable)
  • Strong knowledge of construction environments (highly desirable)
  • Experience managing ISO standards and internal audits
  • Good understanding of risk assessments RAMS COSHH
  • Confident communicator and collaborator
  • Strong attention to detail and proactive problemsolving skills
  • Familiarity with environmental legislation and waste processes
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools (Teams SharePoint etc.
  • Comply with all company policies procedures and business ethics codes including the antibribery policy while adhering to the Environmental and Quality Management System in alignment with ISO standards and the requirements of the NERS accreditation.

  • Asbestos and Legionella awareness

When you join you will go through our top-notch induction and onboarding process and have opportunities to develop further through our in house training academy. You'll have a proven track record of: Assessing potentially hazardous and dangerous situations, taking appropriate action to ensure the safety of personnel, other site operatives and the public. Undertaking site specific risk assessments and creating RAMS, and competent in issuing and cancelling safety documents. Ensuring personnel and your wider team understand duties under safety documents. Carrying out network operations under instruction from the Network Control Engineer. Understanding the local network anomalies and ensuring correct phase rotation. You'll already have experience & qualifications in: Currently hold (or have held) authorisations up to 33kV including permit to work (accepting 11KV with extensive experience). CSCS (affiliated). The use of Productivity and Collaboration Software such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint etc. across multiple platforms such as smart phones, tablets, laptops etc. Full UK driving license (Maximum of 3 points).
