Job Description

We are currently seeking a Workforce Planning Coordinator to join our Planning team at our Appleton Thorn site. 

Salary: up to 29500 per annum DOE

Working hours: 4 on 4 off 6am 6pm.

As Workforce Planning Coordinator you will be responsible for the administration of the driver management system (My Work Force). Alongside this the successful candidate will be responsible for creating daily reports that will be used in making key operational decisions. 

Job responsibilities of Workforce Planning Coordinator include:

  • Oversee management of drivers details in MWF Davis and Convey and update MWF with request live time.
  • Oversee MyWorkForce inbox and action any requests for driver holidays sickness or other forms of leave.
  • Complete daily reports on manpower revenue projections rebooks trailer checks to support the operational plan.
  • Oversee vehicle management in GTS and Convey.
  • Ensure MyWorkForce is kept up to date so any data fed out of the system is accurate and live time.
  • Manage and administer GTS forecasting tool.
  • With the support of the Workforce Planning Manager the candidates will be required to communicate workings and data output with Senior Management (Head of UK Transport) on a weekly basis.

Qualifications :

  • Excellent Microsoft Excel Skills.
  • Data entry experience.
  • Knowledge of the haulage industry is preferable but not essential.
  • To be organised and able to work to strict deadlines.
  • Must have the ability to interpret data by analysing trends.
  • Knowledge of MS Packages Excel/word etc.
