The International Recruitment Officer performs the following duties and responsibilities:
- develops and executes the enrollment plans for international applicants to the Universitys academic programs including Foundation Undergraduate Masters and PhD programs (hereinafter academic programs of the University) as well as for feepaying admission;
- makes analysis of the previous years enrollment plans and conducts market research to identify new opportunities and trends by providing recommendations for improvement and effective achievement of enrollment targets;
- participates in reviewing partial scholarships and admission requirements for international applicants in collaboration with other structural divisions as needed;
- builds relationships and coordinates interactions with external partners including recruitment agencies educational consultants international schools and other partners to expand the global applicant pool for enrollment on a feepaying basis;
- provides comprehensive consultations to interested parties regarding the rules for participating in the competition for admission to the Universitys academic programs and conducts presentations for prospective international students to inform them about educational opportunities and career prospects;
- coordinates work with external agents who provide services for recruiting international applicants for admission including for feepaying programs;
- conducts training sessions to recruitment agents on academic programs of the University admissions requirements university life and provides overall support to enhance recruitment efforts;
- coordinates and represents the University at international education fairs exhibitions and webinars to promote brand awareness globally;
- collaborates with University Schools and structural divisions to support recruitment efforts promotional activities and student admissions assist and support as needed;
- monitors recruitment performance by providing regular reports and analytical notes and data analysis;
- develops proposals to the Director of the Division to improve the efficiency of international applicant recruitment processes suggesting recommendations to optimize outcomes;
- timely and properly executes the tasks of the Director of the Division and the Universitys management;
- observes the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Employers internal documents as well as maintains the labor and performance discipline.
Qualifications :
Education:
- Higher education preferably in education management international relations or related fields;
- A Masters degree in a relevant field (education management or equivalent) is preferred;
- A diploma from an institution where English is the language of instruction is a plus;
Work experience:
- Minimum five years of relevant experience in educational institutions universities event organization and student coordination;
- Proven experience working with external partners including educational agents and international cooperation in the field of education especially in recruitment;
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of global education trends and crosscultural communication is an advantage;
- Familiarity with Kazakhstans education migration policies;
- Proficiency in English; additional language skills are a strong advantage;
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint and Canva.
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships across cultures;
- Experience in student recruitment international relations or educational consulting;
- Excellent organizational problemsolving and decisionmaking skills;
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple projects;
- Proficient in preparing reports analytical notes and presentations;
- Ability to assist with budget planning related to international recruitment activities and resource management.
