As the Director of Sales at Hyde Perth youll lead the charge in building and driving the hotels sales strategy positioning Hyde as one of the most exciting lifestyle destinations in the city. Youll be responsible for maximizing revenue across all segments leading a highperforming sales team and fostering relationships that grow our brand visibility locally and nationally.
This is a role for someone with vision drive and a flair for creative sellingsomeone who gets the numbers but also the people behind them. Youll know how to craft compelling partnerships convert leads into loyal guests and inject the Hyde spirit into everything we do.
Main Functions
- Lead and develop a sales strategy aligned with Hyde Perths commercial goals and brand positioning.
- Drive revenue growth across all market segments including corporate leisure MICE and group business.
- Build manage and inspire a highperformance sales team focused on results relationships and creativity.
- Develop strategic partnerships and build strong relationships with key accounts agencies and local stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Revenue and Brand Marketing to optimize pricing packaging and promotional strategies.
- Identify new business opportunities and emerging markets keeping Hyde one step ahead of the competition.
- Represent Hyde Perth at industry events tradeshows and networking opportunitiesputting the brand firmly on the map.
- Monitor sales performance and pipeline activity producing accurate reporting and actionable insights.
- Work closely with the operations and brand teams to ensure guest and client expectations are not just met but exceeded.
- Ensure all sales practices comply with brand standards and local regulations.
Qualifications :
ABOUT YOU
- Youre an experienced hotel sales leader with 57 years in the industry including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- You know the Australian market inside and out and opening experience is a big plus.
- Youve built or helped shape a sales function before and know how to balance strategy with hustle.
- Youre a natural relationshipbuilder with a strong network and a knack for storytelling that converts.
- You thrive in fastpaced environments think strategically and execute with precision.
- You love working across teams and understand the importance of aligning sales with brand revenue and ops.
- Youre goaloriented resilient and resultsdrivenbut always bring people along for the journey.
