Acutronic is looking for a Contracts Specialist to join our team in Pittsburgh PA. In this role you will be responsible for managing all contracts for Acutronic USA Inc. Our ideal candidate will have at least five years of proven experience as a contract administrator contract manager contract specialist or related role.

Contracts Specialist

Your Roles/Responsibilities:

  • With support of a Contracts Manager review analyze and prepare customer contracts and other legal documents including but not limited to drafting and editing contract terms and making necessary amendments to terms and conditions
  • With support of a Contracts Manager engage in negotiations with customers to secure favorable contract terms for Acutronic
  • Develop and maintain strong positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide timely and effective communication to all stakeholders regarding contract status performance and any potential issues
  • Knowledge of contracting laws procurement regulations contract documents and legal specifications including but not limited to FAR and DFARS
  • Review contracts for mandatory and suggested flowdowns to be communicated to supply chain
  • Generate and maintain NonDisclosure Agreements (NDAs) and Consulting Agreements ensuring they are properly logged and up to date
  • Provide contract administration including but not limited to:
    • Recommending drafting and assisting in the implementation of contract terms
    • Developing and improving contractsrelated policies and procedure
    • Creating and delivering contractrelated work instructions and trainings
  • Reporting requirements:
    • Facilitate insurance renewals for the company and claims
  • Data entry:
    • Input contract related data into government portals
  • Record maintenance:
    • Organize file and maintain Contracts and support documentation

Your Profile/Qualifications/Skills:

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration Law or a related field preferred. Combination of experience and education would be considered
  • At least five years of proven experience as a contract administrator contract manager contract specialist or related role
  • Experience editing and drafting NonDisclosure Agreements
  • Proficiency in Federal contracting required
