Job Overview
We are seeking a fulltime Float Teacher for our locations in Andheri and Kalyan. This juniorlevel role requires a candidate with 1 to 3 years of relevant experience. The float teacher will be responsible for supporting classrooms providing coverage where needed and collaborating with teaching staff to deliver highstandard education.
Qualifications and Skills
- Expertise in child development to understand and nurture childrens growth effectively.
- Proficient in classroom management to maintain a productive learning environment.
- Strong lesson planning skills to organize and influence daily classroom activities.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with students parents and staff.
- Experience as a preprimary teacher to accommodate early educational settings.
- Certification in Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCED) as a fundamental requirement.
- Adaptability to switch roles and support various classrooms is essential for this position.
- Commitment to uphold Podars educational standards and embody its values in teaching practices.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide coverage across classrooms and support lead teachers in maintaining educational quality.
- Develop and adapt lesson plans ensuring continuity and compliance with the curriculum.
- Monitor and report student progress addressing individual needs within diverse age groups.
- Facilitate an engaging and inclusive learning atmosphere that promotes academic growth.
- Collaborate with staff for coordinated activities and collective teaching efforts.
- Participate in faculty meetings contributing to the combined improvement of teaching methods.
- Engage with parents and guardians constructively to discuss student development.
- Uphold all school policies and regulations to maintain a safe and effective educational space.
