Job Description
We continue to grow at Cornerstone Dermatology & Surgery Group in Lees Summit MO and we are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our stellar team. Previous dermatology experience is not required we are eager to train the right candidate.

Cornerstone Dermatology & Surgery Group is a growing privately owned dermatology practice. Our practice opened in July 2018 and we have seven busy providers. Located in Lees Summit MO we have two locations just minutes from each other. At Cornerstone we provide compassionate expert medical and surgical dermatology care in a comfortable office setting. We offer an excellent total compensation package. Our compensation package includes a competitive salary and a full benefits package.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care and service
- Assist provider in clinic and surgery
- Ensure efficient patient flow
- Obtain patient medical history
- Provide patient instructions and education
- Followup with patients regarding labs biopsy results and postoperatively
- Set up and sanitize of exam rooms
- Answer patient phone calls
- Schedule procedures and appointments
- Clean and sterilize medical instruments
- Prepare surgery trays
Schedule
- Monday through Thursday 7:30 am 4:30 pm
- Friday 7:30 am 3:30 pm
Qualifications
- Current Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant
- BLS Certification
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
