Qualifications and requirements:High school diploma or equivalent. Graduate of Accredited Medical Assistant Program or equivalent required.
- Current Montana CCMA CMA or RMA certification via AAMA or NHA. must obtained within 60 days of hire.
- Current American Heart Association BLS certificate or obtained within 30 days of hire.
- Require critical thinking skills decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
- works under the supervision of a Physician or Nurse assists with performing patient assessments and treatments.
- Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection. Monitors and communication changes in patient condition.
- Maintains equipment and medical supplies including reordering stocking cleaning and troubleshooting.
- Maintains examination areas.
- Assists with keeping patient rooms and common areas stocked clean and orderly.
