Cartas fund administration platform supports nearly 7000 funds and SPVs representing $150B in assets under administration in venture capital and private equity. Trusted by more than 40000 companies Carta also helps private businesses in over 160 countries manage their cap tables valuations taxes equity programs compensation and more.

Together Carta is creating the endtoend ERP platform for private markets. Traditional ERP solutions dont work for Private Funds. Private capital markets need a comprehensive software solution to replace outdated spreadsheets and fragmented service providers. Cartas software for the Office of the Fund CFO does just that its a new category of software to make private markets look more like public markets a connected ERP for private capital.

The Problems Youll Solve

At Carta our employees set out on a mission to unlock the power of equity ownership for more people in more places. We believe that the problems we solve today unlock the opportunities of tomorrow. As a Junior Salesforce Admin (Contract Lifecycle Management Admin) youll work to:

  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams (Legal Sales Finance Procurement IT etc. to gather and document requirements for CLM enhancements
  • Analyze business needs to define functional and technical specifications for system updates
  • Ensure alignment between contract workflows approvals and compliance requirements
  • Configure and manage CLM workflows approval process contract templates data mapping clauses redlining and automation
  • Oversee the implementation of new features and enhancements within the CLM platform.
  • Support CLM system integrations with Salesforce and other tools
  • Develop and execute unit test cases for CLM enhancements to ensure functionality meets business needs
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders and resolve issues before deployment
  • Manage CLM deployment to production ensuring version control of contract templates and minimal business disruption
  • Provide postimplementation support troubleshoot issues and collect feedback for continuous improvements
  • Act as a point of contact for CLMrelated queries ensuring smooth contract
  • Continuously improve contract workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce turnaround times

The Team Youll Work With

Youll be joining our Business Systems Team which is responsible for building managing and optimizing technology across every aspect of product sales and operational support at Carta. As the backbone of the business our mission is to drive growth by developing the platform infrastructure and tools that keep the company running efficiently. We focus on longterm success by optimizing processes for both internal teams and customers. Our work drives efficiency gains by automating repetitive tasks to reduce manual work and boost productivity. We provide leadership with realtime datadriven insights for strategic planning enabling scalable growth by ensuring systems and processes can handle increasing demand. We bridge gaps between teams by integrating tools and workflows ensuring compliance and security by properly governing businesscritical data. Additionally we streamline processes such as deal approvals contract and billing accelerating revenue recognition and shortening timetorevenue.

About You

  • 3 years of total experience and minimum of 2 years of Salesforce Configuration or Salesforce Administration experience required
  • Basic knowledge of Salesforce Admin and SOQL (Salesforce Object Query Language) with the ability to configure and optimize queries for CLM integration
  • Experience with CPQ and/or contract lifecycle management tools collaborating with deal desk legal operations or sales operations teams
  • Experience with Conga CLM or similar CLM solutions
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word including advanced formatting styles and automation features
  • Strong understanding of contract structures clauses redlining and approval processes.
  • Experience collaborating with legal sales finance deal desk and procurement teams to align contract processes
  • Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines handle and prioritize multiple requests simultaneously
  • Creative and analytical thinker with strong problemsolving skills

Preferred but not required

  • Bachelors degree in Business Legal Studies Finance or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience with DocuSign Adobe Sign Conga Sign and their integration with CLM platforms
  • Proficiency with tools like Conga Composer for automated document generation
  • Knowledge of contract template setup data field mapping between CLM platforms and integrated systems clause libraries and version control for document automation
