DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY
The Systems Engineer is responsible for the configuration development testing reliability and maintenance of applications and systems that support a global user base. This is a crossfunctional role involving collaboration across multiple teams and technologies. The position will support a range of platforms including E2Open Supply Management Oracle EBS Supply Chain Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and data engineering solutions
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate closely with product owners QA teams and crossfunctional IT partners to ensure application design and quality align with business requirements.
- Ensure high availability and reliability of B2B integrations by implementing robust mitigation strategies and proactive countermeasures.
- Promote code quality and reusability through peer reviews and collaborative programming practices.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for processes code configurations and system changes.
- Stay current with industry trends in agile methodologies and emerging integration technologies.
- Identify prioritize and implement continuous improvements in integration workflows and system performance.
- Apply agile practices for effective communication collaboration and task management across development cycles.
- Engineer data pipelines to support business intelligence and analytics use cases.
- Troubleshoot issues perform enhancements and develop interfaces and APIs using BizTalk.
- Manage code changes and version control across multiple ERP systems adhering to Vertivs change management and release protocols.
- Apply structured problemsolving techniques (e.g. 8D methodology) for issue resolution including root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
- Configure and support process automation tools to optimize operational efficiency.
- Conduct proactive analysis on a daily weekly and monthly basis driving toward automation of recurring reports and workflows.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology related field or equivalent work experience
- 5 years of work experience in design development testing and version control of business applications
- 3 years of work experience configuring procurement and/or supply chain applications using PL/SQL
- 3 years of work experience in data engineering BI or robotic process automation
- Experience with b2b collaborations (supporting onboarding) with internal and external ERPs
- Ability to learn new applications methods and able to apply knowledge in practice
- Must have agile customer centric and continuous improvement mindset
- Experience working in global corporation or international business environment is a plus
- Experience with data engineering using SQL or Python is a plus
- Be able to support limited business travels
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Must be fluent in English and effectively communicate with global customers and differing cultures is required
- Ability to write and interpret reports business correspondence and/or procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers vendors and business customers
REASONING ABILITY:
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving many variables in different situations
- Ability to apply critical thinking to spot issues and identify patterns that may present risks or opportunities to projects
