Description

Federated Cooperatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Facilities Coordinator on a permanent basis on our Facilities Design and Development team. This position requires onsite work and is based in Regina SK.

We are looking for someone who is a strong communicator who can work with multiple different teams and external vendors and contractors while maintaining a focus on safety. If you are someone who focuses on efficiency can problem solve and excels at coordinating we strongly encourage you to apply!

What youll do:

  • Manage the daytoday ongoing operation and maintenance of facilities including but not limited to janitorial services landline telephones and cabling infrastructure air conditioning plumbing heating lighting indoor air quality signage elevators building repairs and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with operating departments and other internal customers to determine facility service requirements and to facilitate maintenance and coordinate with multiple departments to manage and set ongoing maintenance schedules.
  • Responsible for facilities maintenance contractors ensuring quality adherence to contract specifications vendor performance and effective relationships.
  • Collaborate with management to effectively coordinate office space and furniture requirements.
  • Identify and evaluate costsaving opportunities related to facilities operations including utilities space utilization maintenance and vendor contracts.

You will work closely with the Building Operations team FCL and Coop Refinery Complex (CRC) stakeholders and 3rd party vendors and contractors. You will report into the Manager Facilities Management on a team that strives to cultivate a culture of engagement communication and support.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Building Operations and:

  • Have 8 years of experience in facility management or a related position.
  • Have a post secondary one year certificate in Business Administration a recognized trade certificate OR a twoyear diploma (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
  • Have a Facility Management Professional or Certified Facility Management designation would be an asset.
