Contractor Opportunity: Final QC Underwriter Closed Loan Review (Remote)
Pay: $38 per file
Loan Types: Business Purpose DSCR Bank Statement P&L
Software: LauraMac (Experience Required)
We are seeking a highly experienced Final QC Underwriter to perform postclosing quality control review on closed mortgage files. This is a contractor role for someone who is confident in their ability to identify errors without supervision. The focus is on validating closed files for compliance accuracy and completenessno one will be reviewing your work after you.
What Youll Do:
Conduct full postclosing audits on closed loans to ensure the file is clean compliant and accurate
Review and verify:
Data entry across the file
Income calculations on bank statement and P&Lbased loans
Credit analysis for accuracy and completeness
Appraisal data for valuation consistency (not a full appraisal review)
Guideline application to ensure accurate decisioning was applied
Identify and document all discrepancies or exceptions
Work with nonQM loan types: business purpose DSCR bank statement and P&Lbased loans
Requirements:
Must have experience with LauraMac no training will be provided
Previous experience in postclose due diligence QC or final audit roles
Deep knowledge of nonQM loan structures and documentation
Proven ability to work independently and catch errors with no oversight
High attention to detail and accountability
This is a remote 1099 contractor role paid at a flat rate of $38 per file. Were looking for a meticulous experienced professional who takes pride in clean accurate loan files.
