Job Overview

HoneyCar is seeking a motivated and resultsdriven Used Car Manager to oversee our preowned vehicle inventory sales and profitability. This role involves managing inventory acquisition pricing strategies and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a proven track record in preowned automotive sales and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management: Source and acquire preowned vehicles that meet market demands and align with dealership standards.
  • Pricing Strategies: Analyze market trends and competitively price vehicles to maximize sales and profitability.
  • Sales Leadership: Train mentor and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed sales goals.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure a seamless and positive experience for all preowned vehicle customers.
  • Performance Metrics: Track and analyze sales and inventory performance adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the General Manager and other departments to align inventory and sales goals with overall dealership objectives.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Used Car Manager Automotive Sales Manager or similar role in the automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge of preowned vehicle valuation market trends and acquisition strategies.
  • Leadership and teambuilding skills with a focus on coaching and development.
  • Proficiency in dealership management systems and CRM software.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • A customerfirst mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
